Mottainai Japan’s Donated Football Equipment Delivered to Children at FC Nono!

Hello! We are FC Nono, a social football team in Bihar, India, dedicated to empowering underprivileged children through football activities.


Mottainai Japan's Football Equipment Donation Arrived to us in Bihar

From March to April 2023, with the cooperation of NPO Mottainai Japan, FC Nono collected donations of spikes/cleats, training shoes, and footballs that have either grown out of size and have either been replaced by new ones at home or at teams. We are pleased to report that the collected equipment have safely been delivered to the children in Bihar, India.

The Donated Football Equipment Arrival in India!

As a result of our two-month long campaign, we received an impressively large number of donations; 81 pairs of soccer shoes and 88 soccer balls! The football equipments arrived at our base of operations in Bihar, India, and are already being used in our daily activities.

Support Beyond Football Equipment

In regards to this donation, we were also informed from Mottainai Japan that stamps and postcards which were donated to Mottainai Japan were used to cover the delivery fee of these donated football equipments. We would like to further reach and express our deepest gratitude to everyone who were involved in this donation, not only in the form of donation of the actual football equipments but in other ways to make this possible. Thank you all very much!

Everyday, out on the field, our staff members recognize all of the football equipments donated by people all over Japan put in use, which directly and effectively connects to the children's daily growth and development. ABOUT FC Nono / FC Nonoについて 一般社団法人FC Nonoは、インド・ビハール州ブッダガヤで活動する子どもたちのサッカーチームです。サッカーを通じインドの社会問題解決に取り組んでいます。最貧困家庭の子どもたち、刑務所の青年囚人、孤児たち、障害者の子どもたちにサッカー指導をしています。サッカー活動をフックとした健康管理、栄養改善、教育、人材育成、環境・衛生・保健・栄養教育などを通じ社会変革を目指して活動しています。 FC Nono is a football organization set up to tackle social problems and dedicated to social change in developing countries. As a charitable and social project, our mission is to improve inclusive living conditions of young girls/boys of BodhGaya city, Bihar State in India who are forced to live in poverty through our wide range of social activities focused on health, education and human resources development towards sustainable livelihoods. We reach out to the youths in impoverished families, prison, the disabled and street children.
