FC Nono and Nissui Con Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Nissui Con”) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a partnership, aimed for hygiene awareness activities in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India. This partnership is designed to elevate hygiene awareness in the local communities of India, as part of the “Sports for Development” initiative.
Under this partnership, FC Nono will lead awareness efforts by incorporating hygiene education content into soccer practices and events. Nissui Con will support the program through sponsorship by sending water and sanitation experts to Bodh Gaya, Bihar, where the headquarter of FC Nono’s activities is located. Nissui Con will also conduct workshops for FC Nono’s team members and nearby educational institutions.
Through this hygiene awareness project, both organizations aim to improve hygiene awareness among local youth and community residents, communicate effective sanitation practices, and contribute to sustainable development in the region.
The project is set to begin in December 2024 and will continue indefinitely. Additionally, both organizations will work together on promotional activities to expand awareness of the project and maximize outreach within the community. This new project follows the ongoing "Achhi Aadat (Good Habits) Campaign," which began in collaboration with JICA India Office and Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. in May 2023
Through the "Achhi Aadat (Good Habits) Campaign," FC Nono has promoted the importance of hygiene practices and nutrition management to local children, using sports as a means to encourage health. Building on this experience, the new project with Nissui Con will also implement a sustainable social development model by combining hygiene awareness and sports.
