About Mayo san
Mayo san graduated from the School of Foreign Studies at Osaka University, where she majored in Hindi. After gaining experience at a global consulting firm, she launched her career as a YouTuber. Her YouTube channel, "Mayo Japan," which she founded in December 2018, has garnered over 3.4 million subscribers as of December 2024, solidifying her status as a top influencer.
Mayo san's activities extend far beyond social media. She has conducted interviews with the director and lead actors of the Indian blockbuster film "RRR" to commemorate its release in Japan. Furthermore, she has interviewed influential figures such as the President of Kirloskar Foundation and the Indian Ambassador to Japan, expanding her influence into the realms of diplomacy and business. Her work contributes significantly to fostering mutual understanding between Japan and India across cultural, economic, and diplomatic domains.
The Diplomatic Power of Sports and Entertainment
FC Nono is committed to addressing social challenges through sports, with a special focus on supporting girls' soccer and education in rural India. As FCNono’s ambassador, Mayo san will support the team through the following activities:

2. Engaging in Grassroots Interaction
She will actively participate in soccer clinics and awareness workshops in rural India, interacting directly with local communities and advocating the importance of education and gender equality through sports.
3. Advancing International Exchange Initiatives
She will support the “FCNono Japan Tour”, which aims to bring Indian youth to Japan to foster cultural and sports exchanges. She will also participate in domestic events in Japan to further strengthen the friendship between Japan and India through the combined power of entertainment and sports.
4. Advocating for Gender Equality and Education
As ambassador, Mayo san will champion the importance of gender equality and emphasize the need for education, particularly through the empowerment of girls in sports.
5. Strengthening Partnerships with Sponsors and Corporate Partners
Mayo san will enhance collaboration with FCNono’s sponsors and corporate partners, contributing to the organization’s sustainable growth.
